Buildings

At this stage, this is an excercise in 1 point perspective using photoshop. Eventually, I'll get the buildings fleshed out, and maybe even get the sky painted.

This drawign is part of an ongoing obsession of mine. I have plans for a story that involves builidings of emense proportions, a seperation form nature, and really big monsters in the woods...

Imagine a city where a good portion of the people never need or want to go out of their buildings. The buildings themselves are built on foundations that take up four to ten blocks of today's cities.

I was thinking about super-cities long before the Discovery Channel did their special on them. In fact, those specials still assume that people would want to get to the ground.

In the city of my imagination, the buildings are big enough to have the outdoors indoors. People who really need to bo between buildings use strangely retro looking flying cars (they just call them cars, busses etc.) the really brave ones ride zip bikes.
