This started out as a sketch in one of my note books. The setting interested me enough that I decided to scan it in and so some color work with it, and maybe pump up some of the shadows.

The bit that I really like* about this piece is that the main figure is brought out by using the green tones, and is framed by the other figures in purple tones.

* Mary LaPorte (one of my professors at college) has probably just had a major stomache ache because I used the word "Like" in a sentance describing art work. We're not supposed to like or dislike art, we're supposed to objectively critique it.
